Elio Alcindor
Biography
Son of pastors, Elio Alcindor is a worshiper, composer, missionary, teacher and doctor. Elio is a passionate worshipper, who loves God above all else. Canadian of Haitian origin, he has been involved in the Praise and Worship ministry from a very early age, which he continues to do in several languages including Spanish, French, Creole & English. Being a doctor, it has been very clear that part of his calling is to praise and worship Almighty God. Therefore, he has always been actively involved in the ministry of worship and praise.
Elio has been nominated and awarded several times in various Latin American countries, also in Canada and the US. After the release of his first album "Úsame Señor", which earned him multiple nominations, he suffered a difficult time in his life with the loss of his first wife.
After many years dealing with this difficulty, God allowed him to move forward through music and the subsequent release of “Glorify Yourself” in 2018, which earned him an award and multiple nominations.
In 2020, he released his well-received single “Hosanna” which, once again, earned him an award for Best Latin Gospel Artist of the Year with Latin Awards Canada and multiple nominations with various academies.
In 2021, he launched "Vamos a celebrar", (Let's Celebrate in English), is a song released inviting everyone to celebrate God even in the midst of difficulties. With this song, Elio received many awards and nominations in different academies in the US, Canada, Colombia among others. “Haz lo que quieras” y “Poderoso” followed by “So Powerful” English version of “Poderoso” featuring Kristal Chalmers, are the singles released by Elio Alcindor in 2022, with fresh styles to continue inviting everyone to completely surrender to God, The Almighty who never fails and will never fail you.
At the begining of 2023, he released "Mi Vida Tuya Es" meaning "My Life Is Yours". His latest song "Praise The Lord" is a production made in several languages including English version featuring Jennifer Lewin, Spanish, French and Creole.
Elio is the father of three: Elliott, Erchley & Ruthchelle. Even in the midst of his pain, despair, and discouragement over the loss of his wife, he decided to continue answering his call related to his ministry of Worship and Praise.
"God exists, He is real, He is with you, trust Him. God loves you like no one else, cares for you like no one else, He will heal you, He will never leave you and believe it: SOMETHING GREAT IS COMING FOR YOUR LIFE".

Serving God was, is and will always be Elio Alcindor's passion and his great desire is to be able to always be faithful to God, obey Him at all times, serve Him wherever and whenever He wants, praise and adore Him to the last day of its existence. "When God calls someone, sooner or later he keeps his word. Faith, patience, the will to want to respond to this call allow us to see in physical reality what has been in the spiritual world for a long time since before we were born”, Elio continues to believe and say.
