Biography

Claire is a worship leader, singer-songwriter, and coach whose life and career have been an exquisite blend of faith, music, and leadership. Born with her Nigerian heritage shaping her early experiences, her musical journey took root at the tender age of six. Even as a young member of a children's choir, Claire's voice was set apart by its captivating vibrato.

Although she was raised in an academic household, with her father pioneering groundbreaking initiatives at his university and her mother thriving as an entrepreneur, Claire's path was destined to be distinct. While a career in medicine was once a vision, her undeniable connection to gospel, soul, and R&B—the melodies that filled her youth—suggested a different destiny. Her family humorously affirmed this, who believed she would shine brighter as a musician than a doctor.

The turning point for Claire came at twelve when her profound love for Jesus melded seamlessly with her musical inclinations. This fusion fortified her during personal trials, losses, and challenges and solidified her mission: to usher others into transformative encounters with the Lord through worship music. Drawing from the Scriptures, she began songwriting at 16, creating evocative tracks like "For Your Glory" and "Robed in His Righteousness". Whether it's a solo session with her piano and guitar or a group setting, Claire's aim remains consistent—to envelop people in God's embrace. She further nurtures her craft by actively contributing to a worship writing community and leading worship at Mountain Springs Church, where she now Pastors alongside her husband.

Yet, Claire's ambitions aren't confined to music. Inspired by her lineage of trailblazers, she carved a unique path marked by achievements such as building high-performing teams, sculpting innovative processes, and establishing risk frameworks. Claire channels this pioneering spirit into her work as a consultant and coach for global corporations and senior executives. Her mantra, "the leader maketh the change", resonates in her role, earning her the proud title of "Start-up Coach". 

For those navigating the intricacies of Christian music, Claire is a beacon. Her vast experience empowers musicians to craft songs that resonate with faith, find their distinct voices, and expand their ministry reach, ensuring their music remains a symbol of hope, worship, and inspiration.

Residing in Ontario, Canada, Claire cherishes her life with her husband and their three musically inclined daughters.
