Biography

Jon has pastored in local, Canadian church contexts for over 10 years, developing a passion for writing songs and creating spaces where people can focus their attention on Jesus and have their lives transformed by the presence of Holy Spirit.

As a writer and worship leader in the JUNO nominated band, Movement Worship, he has written songs that are sung throughout churches in North America and that have garnered attention from Christian radio charts in Canada including ‘God Of Faithfulness’ and ‘Still’. He has been nominated for 6 GMA Canada awards including male vocalist of the year and musical collaboration of the year.

Currently, Jon lives in Woodstock, ON with his wife Sarah and their three children — Joelle, Levi and Haven. He is committed to encouraging and equipping local churches across Canada to have creative and impactful worship moments through excellence in the arts. He spends most of his time travelling across Canada to work alongside of local churches in developing their creative, music, production and songwriting environments.
