Biography

Katie first fell in love with the Lord when her grandfather would bring her to church as a little girl. She felt God so deeply at that tender age and can remember being overwhelmed by His love as a young child and has been walking with Him ever since. She sang at church and youth group, ministered at community events or out of town when the opportunity came, competed in some competitions and continued to write songs for her and the Lord for many years.

After much dreaming, Katie released her first debut album in 2012 of original songs. That same year she became a mom to her beautiful baby girl and a few years later welcomed her second daughter. She continued to write songs and serve in her church; while focusing on her family and growing career.

When the whole world pressed pause a few years ago she pulled out a song she had been working on and decided to share if with her social media community. The response was unexpected and she realized how many other songs she had penned that God may want her to share with others. She felt the Lord drawing her into a new season as a fresh hunger for His word and His presence began to grow; songs and melodies began to pour out of her heart in response.

Katie started recording again in 2022 after a decade hiatus and released her first of 7 songs in 2023.

Her prayer is that God uses these songs to draw people to the Lord and hide her behind the cross so all people see is Him.
