Biography
Solange was submerged in the fine arts at a young age, first performing on stage when she was three. During her childhood she took piano, organ, acting, and dance classes and competed in regional, provincial, and national festivals.
She holds a music diploma from Vancouver Community College and has been privileged to teach people from all over the world, both online and in-person.
As a child, Solange began composing instrumental piano music and won a composition scholarship. Come 2015 she wrote a bi-lingual, French and English, Mass setting for use with a local church. A few years later she began writing her own lyrics. In early 2024 she was invited to record some of her original work in Nashville. Her debut single, 'I Surrender,' came out on June 3, 2024 and there are more releases planned over the next few months.
Outside of music, Solange is a wife and homemaker with five children and lots of hobbies. As a practicing Catholic and Metis woman she serves on a Healing and Reconciliation Grant Committee and works for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Vancouver on Indigenous Reconciliation.
