Lyrics

All of us,
Who are mature
Should take such a view of things.
And if on some point
You think differently,
That also God will make clear to you.

Only let us live up
To what we have already
Attained.

For we are citizens of heaven
And we eagerly await
A Saviour from there,
The Lord Jesus Christ,
Who, by the power that enables him
To bring all under control,
Will transform our bodies
So they will be like his.

Join as one
In following
My example, brothers and sisters,
And just as you have
A model in us
Keep eyes on those who live as we do.

As I've often told
And say again with tears,
Many live as enemies of the cross of Christ.
Their destiny destruction,
Their god is their appetites
And their glory is in their shame.
Their mind is set on earthly things.

But we are citizens of heaven
And we eagerly await
A Saviour from there,
The Lord Jesus Christ,
Who, by the power that enables him
To bring all under control,
Will transform our bodies
So they will be like his.

Instrumental

For we are citizens of heaven
And we eagerly await
A Saviour from there,
The Lord Jesus Christ,
Who, by the power that enables him
To bring all under control,
Will transform our bodies
So they will be like his.

Biography

I've been making music and writing songs since I was old enough to reach the piano. I now am a multi-instrumentalist and arranger, with experience arranging for every size of group: from small bands to orchestras.

Married in 1994, I began taking jobs as a worship pastor, arranging and directing bands for contemporary and "seeker-targeted" churches in Saskatoon, New Jersey, Kingston, and Hamilton. I currently lead worship at Harrowsmith Free Methodist Church in Harrowsmith, Ontario.

While serving as a contemporary church planter and music director for an Anglican congregation, I began putting liturgy and scripture to music in 2012... [more]
