1 heart and 2 plays

Lyrics

Verse 1
Unforgiveness keeps my heart in chains
Losing liberty in vain
All the memories of hurt and pain
And no one owns the blame

Verse 2
All this anger has my mind convinced
That I am somehow righting a wrong
But the price for this resentfulness
Is just too high

Chorus
You forgave me, when I least deserved Your grace
You chose mercy and the burden of my stains
Now You’re asking me to go and do the same
Even when the cost is high

Verse 3
Feeling vengeful robs my soul of peace
Waging war without release
Holding bitterness won’t set us free
We must let go
[Repeat Chorus]

Biography

I was classically trained for many years and then attended the Jazz Music program at Grant MacEwan College (GMCC) in Edmonton, AB with a major in both Music Composition and Recording Arts... [more]
