Lyrics

Out of the depths, I cry to you, oh Lord
Hear my voice, hear my cry for help
I will wait for the Lord, Oh my soul, hope in Him
Like a watchman waits for morning

My God will hear me, He'll show unfailing love
I will wait for His saving hand

I will hope in His Word, while my soul waits for Him
Like a watchman waits for morning
Like a watchman waits for morning

Oh Israel, hope in the Lord
In the Lord there is loyal love and there is power to redeem
Oh Israel, trust in His Word
For His Word to us is grace and peace, that we may stand in awe of Him

Who could stand if you kept account of sins?
Yet forgiveness, it is found in You
I will wait for the Lord, Oh my soul, hope in Him
I will hope in His Word, while my soul waits for Him
Like a watchman waits for morning
Like a watchman waits for morning

Oh Israel, hope in the Lord
In the Lord there is loyal love and there is power to redeem
Oh Israel, trust in His Word
For His Word to us is grace and peace, that we may stand in awe of Him
Oh Israel, hope in the Lord
In the Lord there is loyal love and there is power to redeem
Oh Israel, trust in His Word
For His Word to us is grace and peace, that we may stand in awe of Him

We pray that you connect with your Creator through these songs and that you would be inspired to engage in His creation and in His purposes for you through thinking about these words... [more]
