Lyrics

V1)
Sirens blarin, flashin red and blues
I was drivin fast as I could just tryin to get through
It was out of my control, the circumstance that day
If I could just forget the things i'd seen, I think i'd be okay

L1)
Peoples expectations placed on a piece of tin
They have no idea how hard it is to win

C1)
Cause I'm only human, I bleed
Why are you so quick to judge us, I think that it might be
Cause you haven't seen the things ive seen and until you feel the pain of the shackles in my mind
You'll never know, The weight of the call

V2)
My shift is over, but its never really done
Cause its not a switch that just turns off when you take off that badge and gun
I turn on the evening news let's defund them what they got to lose
But I guarantee those armchair quarterbacks couldn't walk a mile in these boots

L2)
And we think we've seen the truth on our TV's
But its hard to know just what we should believe

C2)
Cause I'm only human, I bleed
Why are you so quick to judge us, I think that it might be
Cause you haven't seen the things i've seen and until you feel the pain of the shackles in my mind
You'll never know, The weight of the call

Outro)
Cause I'm only human
and until you know the pain of the shackles in my mind
You'll never know, The weight of the call
The Weight of the Call
