Verse One Enjoy the thrill of the wintertime Dress up warm, snow hills to climb Take in the fun of the wintertime Play some hockey come on out and shine Chorus Oh its Winnipeg, Winnipeg winter Love you Winnipeg all dressed in white God's clear blue sky stretches over our city I love you Winnipeg, our true north strong and free I love you Winnipeg, the place to be Verse two North winds blowing very cold and strong Frostbite won't take so very long The winter club is along the way We'll stop by and watch a game or play Bridge Hooray for the ice, see them score Cheer on the jets, hear the roar Shout out the anthem all around, sing it loud Sing it loud and clear
